Freshman Fresh Start

Burncoat High School has developed an after-school program to support freshmen. The Freshman Fresh Start program is a tutoring service to help improve skills in English, Math, History, and Science. Meetings for this program take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 1:45-2:30, in room A-18. The mentors include members of the National Honor Society and "The Freshmen Team of Teachers", such as Brian Sargent, Dawn Ashford, Daniel Falcucci, and Christine Abbott. Students who need extra academic support with homework or difficult class subjects are encouraged to join the club. Students can seek more information from administration and/or teachers to recommend them for the program.
